Quinoa – which has been working for many years with the Zapatista communities of Chiapas and their critical reading of the capitalist world-system – invites you to a special evening on Tuesday 19 September!

In support of and in solidarity with the alarming social and environmental situation in Chiapas, we invite you to come and talk to two members of the NGO Frayba, Patricia Domínguez (administrative coordinator) and Lázaro Sánchez (regional work coordinator).

FRAYBA supports communities in their efforts to combat the political, economic and cultural injustices they experience, in particular through the creation of Civil Observation Brigades: their presence helps to calm tense situations in communities threatened by mining projects, tourism projects or oppressed by the army or paramilitaries.
